Job summary

Megazone Cloud is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect - Security (Presales) to lead technical strategy during the sales cycle and design cloud-based security solutions for prospects and customers. You will conduct discovery sessions, develop PoCs, and contribute to proposals, ensuring alignment between client needs and cloud-security capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in Pre-sales, Technology Consulting, or Tech Sales in Cloud Computing.
• 5+ years hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 3+ years AWS in professional work experience.
• 5+ years Security experience (Solutions Architect, Consultant, Delivery, etc.).
• Strong cloud-based architectures with infrastructure, containers, microservices, serverless.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA, NIST, UL, or GAN compliance.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Professional).
• Proven leadership in short-term consulting engagements.
• Ability to assess client environments and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and prioritize.
• Experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architect roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy and execution during the Presales phase.
• Drive alignment between client needs, sales goals, and technical feasibility.
• Lead the technical strategy and communication for security solutions.
• Conduct discovery sessions and technical workshops with prospects.
• Lead short-term consulting/PoC projects to assess and clarify requirements.
• Contribute to technical sections of proposals, RFPs, and statements of work.
• Estimate resources, costs, and timelines for proposed solutions.
• Design cloud-native and/or hybrid architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop detailed solution designs for security enhancement and compliance.
• Deliver presentations and demonstrations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on cloud and security trends; recommend innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and provide ongoing technical sales support.
