Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to apply cybersecurity and RMF experience to an AWS cloud platform, covering infrastructure, applications, data, and people. This role focuses on growing cloud cybersecurity expertise and delivering secure, compliant solutions for federal clients.

The ISSE will coordinate with ISSM/ISSO, build IaC/CaC pipelines, deploy Splunk on Kubernetes, and perform vulnerability assessments to meet policy and client standards

Qualifications

• 5 years of IT experience with DoD networks.
• 5 years of Windows and/or Linux experience.
• 3 years of Splunk deployment and/or administration.
• 1 year of cloud-based systems/tools (AWS preferred).
• 1 year experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration.
• Ability to meet DoD 8570 IAT II requirements (Security+ or higher) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the ISSM and ISSO to deploy and monitor an RMF-compliant AWS cloud platform.
• Assist in developing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration-as-code (CaC) to orchestrate automated deployments of cloud security solutions using Ansible and Terraform.
• Deploy, configure, and operate Splunk for security monitoring, log aggregation, and incident detection on Kubernetes.
• Orchestrate and perform security scans and vulnerability assessments to meet policy and client standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and networking teams on the cloud platform’s deployment.
