Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to design, implement, and maintain security architecture for cloud-based client systems. You will build and operate tooling (SIEM, vulnerability mgmt, automation) to keep systems compliant and support RMF/JSIG authorization activities.

Own security controls across cloud environments, deliver reliable tooling, and provide engineering inputs for RMF documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience implementing NIST 800-53 controls and RMF.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience administering security tooling (SIEM, vulnerability management, or security automation).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across cloud-based systems (identity/access, encryption, network security).
• Develop and operate security tooling (SIEM, vulnerability management) and ensure STIG compliance.
• Automate security tooling deployment/configuration (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Provide technical input into RMF artifacts (SSP, SCTM, POA&Ms, Risk Assessments).
• Develop detections and tune alerts for improved incident response.
• Review new/existing systems for IA compliance and data protection across classifications.
