Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a mid-level Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to bridge business objectives with cybersecurity strategies across portfolios. You will collaborate with diverse teams to integrate security into operations, utilizing RMF and NIST SP 800-171 guidance to support risk-based decisions.

You will develop evidence, policies, and documentation, perform vulnerability assessments, and help prepare ATO packages, enhancing security posture across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years).
• 2-5 years securing systems to meet Security requirements (Controls, STIGS).
• 3+ years A&A using RMF across all 6 steps.
• 2-5 years administering risk management in enterprise or tactical settings.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 2+ years understanding systems and the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain bodies of evidence (BOE) for information systems, apps, services and networks.
• Understand and implement Client Data Program (CDP) with project teams.
• Develop and disseminate system security policies and related processes.
• Conduct internal vulnerability assessments and support external audits.
• Coordinate security tasks across PM, Engineering, Software Development and supply chain risk.
• Produce documentation addressing security requirements.
• Create ATO Packages and supporting docs (SSPs, POA&Ms, SCTMs, Test Reports, Training).
• Perform Security Impact Analyses on System Change Requests for authorized systems.
• Translate technical concepts to semi-technical clients.
