Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Colorado Springs seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to apply cybersecurity and RMF to Amazon Web Service (AWS) cloud platforms, covering infrastructure, applications, data, and personnel.

You will coordinate with ISSM/ISSO to deploy compliant cloud environments, develop IaC/CaC, and deploy Splunk for security monitoring, with DoD experience and certifications required. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Information Technology with DoD networks.
• 5 years of experience with Windows and/or Linux environments.
• 3 years of experience with Splunk deployment and/or administration.
• 1 year of experience with cloud-based systems/tools (AWS preferred).
• 1 year experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
• Ability to meet DoD 8570 IAT II requirements (Security+ or higher) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the ISSM and ISSO to deploy and monitor an AWS cloud platform in RMF alignment.
• Assist in developing IaC and CaC to orchestrate cloud security solutions with Ansible and Terraform.
• Deploy, configure, and operate Splunk for security monitoring and incident detection on Kubernetes.
• Perform security scans and vulnerability assessments to meet policy and client standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and networking teams on the cloud platform’s deployment.
