Job summary

Tanium delivers real-time cloud-based endpoint security and management. This Cloud Cybersecurity Internship offers hands-on learning with a mentor and projects vetted by our experts. You’ll deliver a defined project to strengthen Tanium’s security posture and present it to the R&D team.

You’ll work in our Durham, NC office on a hybrid schedule, earning an hourly rate with housing and 401k benefits, and a monthly communications allowance.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future.
• Full-time availability from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027.
• Currently enrolled Bachelor’s degree candidate with GPA 3.5+.
• Graduating Spring 2028 or Fall 2027.
• Prior internship preferred.
• Has some experience with Cloud such as AWS.
• Passionate about hands-on learning and solving security challenges.
• Ability to communicate and work with peers.

Responsibilities

• Experience first-hand cloud security and operations in a software security company.
• Deliver a well-defined project that will help improve the security at Tanium.
• Work as a member of Tanium’s Cloud Cybersecurity team.
