Amentum is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to implement and maintain security controls across Microsoft 365 Commercial and GCC High, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments. The role emphasizes hands-on cloud engineering, policy-driven configurations, and telemetry to support risk management, audits, and compliant AI deployment.

You will collaborate across security, risk, and platform teams to enable secure, scalable cloud operations while aligning with government and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 5+ years in cloud, security, systems, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on with Microsoft cloud or AWS security capabilities.
• Ability to implement controls via policy, scripting, or infrastructure as code.

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud environments (M365, Azure, AWS, hybrid).
• Configure policies, IaC controls, deployment automation, and integrations with owners.
• Coordinate risk assessment, control testing, remediation, and audit readiness.
• Support AI/ML security, governance, and compliance for CMMC/NIST frameworks.
