Job summary

First Due is seeking a Cloud Security Software Engineer to design and implement autonomous AI tooling for the Cloud Security Plane. The role involves building agent-driven workflows and production-ready AI tools for complex security requirements.

You will work with Python/Go/TypeScript, apply AI/LLM capabilities, and follow cloud-security best practices across identity, logging pipelines, and secure API interactions. This is a fully remote US role reporting to the VP of Cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming foundation in Python, Go, or TypeScript with production-grade experience.
• Demonstrated AI/LLM experience, including autonomous agents or related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build out agent-driven workflows for the Cloud Security Plane.
• Develop triage, investigation, and reporting agents for data processing and security investigations.
• Create autonomous tools aligned with AWS Well-Architected Security Pillar and NIST controls.
