Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cloud Cyber Security Engineer to secure, harden, and maintain compliance of cloud platforms and infrastructure across multiple networks. You will apply RMF, work with compliance teams, and coordinate with engineers and government counterparts to ensure regulatory compliance and strong security posture.

You will design and integrate security across AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI, manage vulnerability programs, and support agile development within a complex enterprise.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 12+ years of ISSE/Systems Engineering experience on customer programs.
• At least one IAT and one IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, CISSP).
• Solid understanding of security practices and hands-on vulnerability testing with customer tools.
• Experience applying RMF.
• Experience with common security tools (ACAS, Prisma Cloud, Splunk/Elastic).
• Experience with SCAP or STIG tools and specifications.
• Extensive experience designing enterprise security solutions and translating requirements into architectures.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/container security architectures (image security, admission controls, secrets, identities, network policies, supply chain security, runtime).
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability mgmt, identity security, network security, secrets mgmt, container scanning.

Responsibilities

• Validate and design system security requirements for large-scale networks.
• Develop technical solutions and standards for security architecture.
• Collaborate with internal technical experts daily.
• Communicate security issues to program managers and customers.
• Participate in program increment planning and agile activities.
• Ensure architecture and implementation meet security requirements with cross-teams.
• Evaluate impact of new development on security posture.
• Provide security architecture expertise to program teams.
• Improve engineering processes, playbooks, and standards.
• Design security across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) environments.
