Job summary

Leidos in Bethesda, MD seeks a Senior Security Architect to lead cloud security engineering across the enterprise. The role focuses on securing, hardening, and maintaining RMF-based compliance for complex cloud platforms and networks.

You will partner with program managers, engineers, and government counterparts to translate security requirements into implementable architectures, evaluate new tech, and drive secure design decisions across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem networks.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or related field with substantial experience.
• Experience with RMF and DoD security practices.

Responsibilities

• Validate system security requirements and design for large-scale, distributed systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and government stakeholders on security architectures.
• Design and implement security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Lead CI/CM and risk assessment activities to maintain compliance.
