Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to perform cloud security posture and configuration reviews, identify misconfigurations, and support migrations in a remote US role. You will run CSPM-based assessments and deliver prioritized recommendations aligned with client objectives and standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience, a Cloud Certification, and hands-on Azure/AWS/M365 security controls experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Cloud Certificate (Azure / AWS / GCP) required.
• Experience delivering cloud security assessments in Azure, M365, AWS; GCP/Oracle a plus.
• Strong written communication; executive summaries and findings.
• Hands-on with security controls in Azure and/or M365.
• Identity/access management patterns (Entra ID, privileged access).
• Experience with CSPM tools and cloud posture reviews (Prisma/Zscaler).
• Familiar with NIST, ISO, CIS mappings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cloud security posture reviews using CSPM approaches.
• Assess configurations against standards and map gaps to compliance.
• Deliver client-ready reports with prioritized remediation.
• Support security domains: IAM, network, logging, workloads, governance.
• Coordinate with resources and validate findings with stakeholders.
• Assist in SOWs and engagement delivery; drive control adoption.
• Collaborate across IT and security to operationalize recommendations.
