Job summary

Ankura Consulting is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to lead cloud security posture reviews and remediation planning for client environments in the United States. The role emphasizes CSPM-based assessments, alignment with client objectives and standards, and delivering prioritized recommendations.

The position requires 10+ years of experience, cloud certifications, and hands-on work with Azure, M365, and AWS environments, including governance and reporting. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Cloud Certificate (Azure /AWS/GCP) required.
• Experience delivering cloud security assessments for Azure, M365 and AWS.
• Hands-on in Azure and/or M365 security implementations.
• Strong written communication and executive summary skills.
• Knowledge of identity and access management in Microsoft clouds.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Perform CSPM-based cloud security posture reviews and automated scans.
• Assess configurations against standards (NIST, ISO, CIS) and map gaps.
• Produce client-ready reports with prioritized remediation and roadmaps.
• Support security governance across IAM, network, logging and workloads.
• Coordinate with internal/third-party resources for engagements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate findings and recommendations.
• Assist (SOW) development and engagement delivery with clients.
