Job summary

Playtech seeks an enthusiastic Cloud Security Engineer to enhance and audit security across Azure and Google Cloud environments. You will work with product teams to ensure secure cloud design and operations for IaaS and PaaS offerings.

The role emphasizes collaborating with security, development, and IT teams, applying CSPM/DSPM practices, and continuously improving security controls while staying current with evolving threats.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a technical security role.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of CSPM and DSPM solutions.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud security governance and monitoring.
• Maintain a CSPM solution.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, development and GRC teams on Google Cloud domain.
• Support and maintain cloud-native security controls.
• Conduct security reviews for cloud environments.
• Develop documentation with security recommendations and best practices.
• Identify weak spots and remediation recommendations.
• Stay current on threats and cloud security controls.
• Participate in investigations and responses to incidents.
• Implement automation for security-related tasks.
