Overview:

As the Account Executive for Cloud, AI & WebApp Security at Qualys, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team by providing expertise in cloud technology, AppSec, and AI security. This position acts as a solution overlay to the sales team, focusing on Total Cloud, TotalAppSec, and TotalAI (CNAPP + AppSec + AI-SPM) sales efforts and promoting our leadership in cloud and AppSec security. Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategies for selling cloud, containers, AppSec, and AI Security solutions to enterprise clients.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert on Cloud and AppSec technology and security, supporting the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
  3. Conduct presentations and demos to educate clients on our CNAPP, AppSec, and AISPM solutions, emphasizing our unique position in the cloud and AppSec security space.
  4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
  5. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Collaborate with product management, marketing, and sales enablement teams to develop compelling GTM positioning, messaging, and packaging/pricing strategies.
  7. Create content focused on CNAPP, AppSec, and AISPM solutions and enable the sales team with conversation starters, demos, PoVs, and support in closing deals.
  8. Work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  9. Provide feedback based on client interactions and market insights to improve offerings and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the tech industry.
  3. Deep understanding of cloud computing, container security, AppSec, and AI/LLM Model Security, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  4. Hands-on experience selling cybersecurity products such as CNAPP (CSPM, CWPP, Container Security), AppSec, and Vulnerability Management solutions to cybersecurity teams at CISO and practitioner levels.
  5. Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, and CyberSec principles.
  6. Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client needs assessment skills.
  9. Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a history of meeting sales targets.
  10. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
