Overview:
As the Account Executive for Cloud, AI & WebApp Security at Qualys, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team by providing expertise in cloud technology, AppSec, and AI security. This position will act as a solution overlay to the new business and existing business sales team, focusing on Total Cloud, TotalAppSec, and TotalAI (CNAPP + AppSec + AI-SPM) sales endeavors and evangelizing our position in the cloud and AppSec security space. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategies for selling cloud, containers, AppSec, and AI Security solutions to enterprise clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Cloud and AppSec technology and security, providing guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to educate clients on the benefits of our CNAPP, AppSec, and AI-SPM solutions and our unique position in the cloud and AppSec security space.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and aligning our solutions to address their challenges effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the cloud space to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work with product management, marketing, and sales enablement teams to develop compelling GTM positioning, messaging, and packaging/pricing strategies.
- Create CNAPP, AppSec, and AI-SPM solution-focused content and enable the broader sales team with conversation starters for pitches, demos, running PoVs, and helping close deals.
- Work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Provide feedback to internal teams based on client interactions and market insights to continuously improve our offerings and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the technology industry.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing, container security, AppSec, and AI/LLM Model Security concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Hands-on experience selling cybersecurity products such as CNAPP (CSPM, CWPP, Container Security), AppSec, Risk, and Vulnerability Management solutions to cybersecurity teams at CISO and practitioner levels.
- Deep knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, and CyberSec principles.
- Proven ability to work with technical and business stakeholders in prospect and existing customer bases.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and recommend solutions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
