Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Revenue Manager to join its global finance team and own cloud revenue accounting under ASC 606. You will reconcile revenue, review contracts, and drive system improvements while collaborating with Deal Desk, Billing, AR, FP&A, and IT. This role emphasizes independence, analytical rigor, and ongoing learning in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue principles.
• Understanding of Order-to-Cash and revenue impact.
• Experience with governance of revenue recognition for contracts.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Elastic Cloud Revenue ownership and revenue reconciliations.
• Analyze large datasets to support revenue close processes.
• Assist revenue contract reviews under ASC 606.
• Lead UAT testing to improve Cloud Revenue systems.
• Coordinate audits and respond to inquiries.
• Draft technical accounting memos and position papers.
• Evaluate revenue policies for scalability and consistency.
• Identify process improvements to reduce risk.
• Deliver internal training on revenue concepts.
