Job summary

Amazon Studios LLC in Culver City is seeking a Production Workflow Engineer to drive adoption of cloud-based workflows across dailies, editorial, conform, color, and mastering. You will educate customers and partners, validate workflows, and deploy integrations with the Studio’s cloud platform.

You will serve as a SME on production and post‑production workflows, collaborate with product and engineering, and help expand the Studio’s cloud capabilities globally for faster, more efficient

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Production technology and media/entertainment experience, including building and managing post production workflows for films, series and unscripted productions.
• Expertise in the capabilities, use and deployment of leading industry content creation tools like Avid Media Composer, Avid NEXIS Blackmagic Resolve, Colorfront On-Set Dailies, Colorfront Transkoder, Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience deploying and supporting workflows following industry content security standards.
• Expertise in using and operating AWS Services, like EC2, S3, Route53, VPC.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of cloud-based workflows for dailies, editorial, conform, color, mastering, and remote production.
• Educate customers, partners and third-party producers about AMS workflows and validate integrations with the cloud.
• Build and deploy workflows; serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate requirements and issues back to product and engineering; work with customers remotely and in person.
