Job summary

Amazon Studios LLC is seeking a Production Workflow Architect to drive adoption of Studio-in-the-Cloud (SITC) cloud-based workflows across dailies, editorial, and color. You will educate partners and internal teams, validate workflows with vendors, and deploy Backlot: Create solutions to integrate local workflows with the cloud.

You will lead engagements with production and post leadership, onboard productions, and evangelize cloud production across AMS and the M&E industry, shaping the future

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• S peak, write, and read fluently in Spanish
• S peak, write, and read fluently in English
• Knowledge and experience with one or more leading industry content creation tools like Avid Media Composer, Avid NEXIS Blackmagic Resolve, Colorfront On-Set Dailies, Colorfront Transkoder, Adobe Creative Cloud

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Studio-in-the-Cloud (SITC) cloud-based workflows (dailies, editorial, conform, color, mastering, remote production).
• Educate customers, internal partners, and third party production companies about SITC workflows.
• Validate workflows with vendors and integrate local workflows with the cloud using Backlot: Create.
• Build and deploy Backlot: Create workflows; act as primary contact for internal stakeholders and end-customers.
• Gathers requirements and communicates issues back to product and engineering; work with customers remotely and in person.
• Lead engagements with management and post leadership at partner production companies; onboard productions.
• Help evangelize cloud production and drive thought leadership for AMS in the M&E industry.
