Job summary

Amazon MGM Studios, part of Amazon, is seeking a Software Development Engineer for Production and Post Production Technology. The role focuses on building cloud‑native infrastructure that powers Editorial, Dailies, Color, Conform, VFX, and Delivery workflows in AWS.

You will translate complex post‑production processes into scalable, secure infrastructure and automate operations. You will work across compute, storage, and networking services, design robust solutions, and collaborate with Product

Qualifications

3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience for large systems.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered distributed software.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

Build cloud‑native capabilities for media workflows and VFX rendering.
Scale and improve Editorial, Dailies, Color, and Conform pipelines.
Translate workflows into infrastructure‑as‑code using CloudFormation or CDK.
Troubleshoot production issues across the stack to unblock teams.
Design solutions using AWS compute, storage, and networking for high throughput.
Collaborate with Product Management and Production Technology to implement requirements.
