Job summary

Amazon seeks a Studio Cloud Production Solutions Architect to drive adoption of SITC cloud‑based workflows across dailies, editorial, conform, color and mastering.

You will educate customers, partners and vendors to enable remote production and validate workflows with vendors. You will lead Backlot: Create deployments and coordinate with product and engineering, while evangelizing cloud workflows to partner studios.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
  • Fluent in Spanish (speaking, writing, reading).
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading).
  • Knowledge of industry content creation tools such as Avid, Blackmagic Resolve, Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Lead engagements with management and post‑production leadership at partner production companies, onboard productions, and evangelize cloud production.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive adoption of Studio‑in‑the‑Cloud (SITC) cloud‑based workflows (dailies, editorial, conform, color, mastering, remote production, etc.) by educating customers, internal partners, and third‑party production companies.
  • Validate workflows with vendors and integrate local workflow with the cloud using Backlot: Create.
  • Build and deploy Backlot: Create workflows; act as primary contact for internal stakeholders and end‑customers.
  • Gather, communicate and prioritize requirements and issues to the product and engineering teams.
  • Work with customers remotely and in person to provide expert guidance on Studio's post‑production creative workflows.
  • Anticipate future trends, identify emerging technologies, and provide recommendations to Product and Engineering to reduce friction, eliminate waste and accelerate workflows.
  • Lead engagements with management and post‑production leadership at partner production companies, onboard productions, and evangelize cloud production within the Studio and the M&E industry.
A Day in the Life

Lead site visits to partner production and post companies, onboard new productions, and evangelize Studio Cloud workflows to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military.
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
  • Fluent in Spanish (speaking, writing, reading).
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading).
  • Knowledge and experience with one or more leading industry content creation tools such as Avid Media Composer, Avid NEXIS, Blackmagic Resolve, Colorfront On‑Set Dailies, Colorfront Transcoder, Adobe Creative Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking.
  • Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.

Benefits & Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
