Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer / Site Reliability Grad level Interns within the ISCD. This internship offers hands-on work across SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, DevOps, and cloud-native technologies, with mentorship and exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP in a defense and civil domain.

Interns will work onsite for 10 weeks, tackling multiple projects, learning containerization, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and security–driven software engineering, and will gain

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Availability to work full-time for at least 10 weeks, with return to degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Transcripts required for selection.

Responsibilities

• Perform software and hardware development for cloud-related prototyping.
• Research and experiment with state-of-the-art cloud technologies.
• Manage Linux systems to provide SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS capabilities.
• Implement DevOps to streamline development, testing, and deployment.
• Work with AWS/Azure/GCP and container tools like Kubernetes.
