The Aerospace Corporation is hiring Cloud Solutions Engineer / Site Reliability Grad level Interns for the Cloud Platforms and Architectures Department in the Information Systems and Cyber Division. Positions are 100% onsite in Chantilly, VA, El Segundo, CA, or Colorado Springs, CO, and require full-time availability for a minimum of 10 weeks.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science or Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA, strong coding skills in Python/Java/C/C++/Go, Linux

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in a college/university pursuing a master’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks and return to degree program after internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Software development experience in at least one major language (Python, Java, C/C++, Go, Rust, etc.).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
• Project experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and/or ArgoCD.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Transcripts required.

Responsabilités

• Perform software and hardware development for cloud-related rapid prototyping activities.
• Research and experiment with state-of-the-art software and hardware technologies.
• Manage Linux systems to provide SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS capabilities.
• Implement DevOps technologies to streamline development, testing, build, and deployment.
• Leverage cloud tools and platforms such as Kubernetes and AWS/Azure/GCP services.
• Investigate bleeding-edge cloud technologies for current and future customer implementations.
• Receive training and mentorship from cloud and software development experts.
• Learn about projects, tools, and technologies used across the enterprise.
