Prodapt ASIC Services (formerly Innovative Logic) seeks an experienced EDA Infrastructure & HPC Operations Engineer to manage and support the engineering compute infrastructure, EDA tool environments, license servers, and Linux systems used by our semiconductor and R&D teams.

You will deploy, administer, monitor, and provide operational support for HPC clusters and job schedulers, automate workflows, and ensure reliable access for design and verification teams.

Formación

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, CS, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HPC administration, EDA/semiconductor IT infrastructure, and Linux system administration.
• Working knowledge of job schedulers (LSF/SLURM/Grid Engine/PBS), license management (FlexLM/FlexNet), and NFS/NAS/distributed storage.
• Familiarity with semiconductor design workflows (RTL, Verification, Physical Design, DFT) and infrastructure monitoring tools.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain EDA applications (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA/Mentor Graphics), including version trees and release qualification.
• Administer license servers (FlexLM/FlexNet), with compliance/utilization reporting and troubleshooting.
• Operate HPC clusters and job schedulers (LSF, SLURM, Grid Engine, or similar) — monitor performance and resolve job issues.
• Support user access environments (remote desktop, Linux authentication/sessions) for design and verification teams.
• Manage software asset tracking, renewals, and consolidation initiatives.
• Administer Linux servers and build automation/scripts to improve reliability and reporting.

Their design services cover the complete lifecycle from RTL to GDSII, covering domains like 3nm node physical design, UVM verification, DFT, and silicon bring-up for 5G, AI, and IoT.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EDA Infrastructure & HPC Operations Engineer to manage and support the engineering compute infrastructure and EDA application environments used by our semiconductor and R&D teams. This role is responsible for the deployment, administration, monitoring, and operational support of HPC clusters, EDA tools, license servers, Linux systems, and user access environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, EDA infrastructure, automation, and high-performance computing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain EDA applications (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA/Mentor Graphics), including version trees, environment modules, and release qualification
• Administer license servers (FlexLM/FlexNet), including compliance/utilization reporting and troubleshooting
• Operate HPC clusters and job schedulers (LSF, SLURM, Grid Engine, or similar) — monitor performance, resolve job issues, manage queues
• Support user access environments (remote desktop, Linux authentication/sessions) for design and verification teams
• Manage software asset tracking, renewals, and consolidation initiatives

Required Qualifications:
