Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure in New York City. You will design and build the foundational cloud platform (account vending, IAM, networking primitives, quotas, infrastructure as code) and own the paved path for cloud at DoorDash with self-service tooling.

You will partner with product and platform teams to unblock complex cloud use-cases, drive multi-cloud and cost-efficiency initiatives, and set technical direction across the company. Hybrid work in NYC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, Organizations, VPC, S3, ECR).
• Experience with Terraform and GitOps workflows (Atlantis/ArgoCD).
• Proficiency in Go and Python; Kubernetes experience.
• Ambitious, self-driven, able to navigate ambiguity and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the foundational cloud platform (account vending, IAM, cloud networking primitives, quotas, IaC).
• Own the paved path for cloud at DoorDash with self-service tooling.
• Partner with product/platform teams to unblock complex cloud use-cases and turn recurring needs into platform products.
• Drive cloud-wide initiatives such as multi-cloud, cost efficiency, and security posture.
• Mentor engineers and set technical direction across the company.
