Job summary

DRW is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate DRW's cloud and hybrid infrastructure across a multi-cloud environment, taking ownership and accountability for reliability, security, and performance of what you deliver.

You will partner with engineering, security, networking, operations, and business teams to enable appropriate use of public cloud, private infrastructure, and hybrid architectures, focusing on scalable, secure solutions that support growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production cloud environments, multi-cloud/hybrid
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation (Terraform, Python, APIs/SDKs)
• Strong cloud networking knowledge (VPCs, DNS, firewalls, load balancers)
• Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, encryption, secrets management)
• Experience with observability and incident resolution in cloud environments
• Understanding of cloud cost models and FinOps practices
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Proven track record delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
• Background in financial services or trading is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate DRW's multi-cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Maintain cloud foundations: accounts, identity, policy guardrails, logging, tagging
• Own root cause analysis for complex production issues and coordinate with providers
• Develop automation and reference architectures for reliable deployment
• Ensure resilient cloud connectivity between providers and on-prem environments
• Improve observability: metrics, logs, traces, alerts
• Advise teams on architecture choices for reliability, security, cost
• Partner with Finance on cost visibility and FinOps
• Explore new cloud services to improve reliability and developer experience
