Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Cloud Platform Operations Engineer II to own day-to-day AWS-based cloud operations, edge environments, and automated improvements. The role emphasizes rapid incident resolution, scalability, and cost-aware performance in a dynamic, ticket-driven setting.

You will work with infrastructure, engineering, and security teams to implement IaC, automation, and AI-enabled workflows, ensuring reliable platform delivery from the corporate office in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of production cloud or infrastructure experience.
• Experience operating AWS-based platforms at scale.
• End-to-end resolution of complex infrastructure issues.
• Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform preferred.
• Experience in ticket-driven incident management environments.
• Exposure to edge compute or virtualization platforms.
• Practical use of AI tools in infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support AWS infrastructure in a production environment.
• Resolve Tier II/III incidents and restore services quickly.
• Develop automation scripts and IaC for repeatable tasks.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and runbooks.
• Leverage AI tools to aid diagnostics and runbooks.
• Collaborate across infrastructure, engineering, and security teams.
• Document procedures and reflect current-state architecture.
