Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable cloud platforms and CI/CD solutions.

You will implement IaC, automate deployments with GitHub Actions, and promote DevOps practices to improve reliability and efficiency across the software delivery lifecycle. This role offers a hybrid work model and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions aligned to business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cloud engineering, infrastructure management, or related field.
• BS/BE in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on CI/CD pipelines experience with GitHub Actions.
• IaC experience with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience designing and deploying AWS cloud solutions and cloud-native apps.
• Experience with Docker and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud platforms and CI/CD solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines with GitHub.
• Implement IaC to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.
• Support cloud-native application development and release quality.
• Create documentation and standards for operational procedures.
• Promote code through environments per release schedules.
• Evaluate tools and practices to improve platform reliability.
• Collaborate with teams to share knowledge and improve practices.
• Work independently within Agile/Scrum teams.
