Job summary
Vanguard seeks a seasoned Cloud Engineering leader to mentor a high-performing team and drive the modernization of our cloud platforms. You will shape automation strategies, oversee performance and compensation decisions, and partner with Architecture, DevOps, and Infrastructure to deliver scalable, reliable cloud capabilities.
Top candidates will have 5+ years in cloud/infra roles, hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC, CI/CD, and a proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration across multiple levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing cloud engineering team with mentorship and career development.
- Drive cloud platform automation, AI-enabled solutions, and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, and Infrastructure to design scalable cloud solutions.
- Define standards, operating models, and KPIs to improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
