Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with strong AWS and Kubernetes experience and a solid Linux foundation. You will contribute to custom software components and integration of open-source code using cutting-edge Big Data/Cloud tech.

The role requires autonomy and collaboration with Architects to meet strategic objectives. The position supports partial telework and may require periodic office presence in San Antonio.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• Kubernetes experience or vendor flavor required.
• Solid Linux knowledge and shell scripting proficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and written and oral communication skills.
• Hybrid work with ~2 days per week in the San Antonio office.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture for software from prototype to production.
• Develop and integrate cloud-based components and open-source code.
• Act as a systems integrator to improve robustness and efficiency of existing codebases.
• Collaborate with Architects and cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals.
