Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer in Columbia, MD with strong AWS, Go, and Linux skills to advance cloud-based components and integrate open-source code for complex Big Data projects. You will work autonomously to identify and solve problems while aligning with team strategy.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code, modern cloud tooling, and collaboration across disciplines in a hybrid environment, with 1–2 days per week at the Columbia, MD office.

Qualifications

• Must have experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes and Ansible
• Proficient in Go programming
• Solid Linux systems, hosts, networks, security, and shell scripting
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid office setting in Columbia, MD 1–2 days/week
• Flexible to schedule changes and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Design core architecture for software from prototype to production
• Leverage IaC tools to define and manage cloud resources
• Collaborate with Architects and cross-functional teams
• Assist with problem solving and performance improvements
• Other duties as assigned
