Job summary

NiCE is seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS). You will maintain production Linux systems and databases, ensure reliability and security, and contribute to performance improvements.

Join a collaborative, engineering‑driven team; be on‑call rotations and partner with engineering to optimize deployments and costs. NICE-FLEX hybrid model: 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in a cloud operation or SRE role with hands-on AWS.
• Deep hands-on experience with EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, VPC, IAM.
• Terraform and Puppet familiarity for configuration management.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and Redis databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage containerized workloads on EKS and ECS, including clustering and networking.
• Maintain production Linux systems and databases; ensure reliability and security.
• Improve observability with monitoring, logging, and performance analytics.
• Lead on-call incidents and drive root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software engineering and DevOps teams to optimize deployments.
