Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS, Python or Go, and a strong Linux foundation. You will contribute to core architecture, integrate open-source components, and work in a hybrid environment with a collaborative team.

The role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container tooling, and automation, and entails occasional travel and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cluster administration.
• Experience with container build tooling and Kubernetes automation tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to San Antonio, TX 3-4 days every three months.
• Hybrid work in Columbia, MD office 1–2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture for software from prototype to production.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS).
• Integrate open-source components and tooling to address complex problems.
• Collaborate with Architects and team members to align with strategic goals.
