Job summary

Dragos, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineering Manager to lead the Cloud Operations Engineering team responsible for the health, security, and reliability of our cloud fleet across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

You will manage people, set priorities, balance on-call, and drive audits and FinOps in collaboration with Security and Product teams. This is a remote-first role with a global team across NA, Europe, ME, and APAC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering or cloud operations teams.
• Experience in cybersecurity and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience running on-call rotations and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of Cloud Operations Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development
• Own team-level operational outcomes: fleet reliability SLOs, incident response quality, and customer environment lifecycle health across Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Balance workload and on-call rotation, protect against burnout while maintaining coverage
• Set and communicate team priorities across ad-hoc customer work, planned fleet initiatives, and debt reduction
• Act as escalation point for major incidents affecting the customer cloud fleet
• Partner on technical direction including Terraform standards and cloud-to-OT connectivity
• Own team contribution to audit and compliance programs (FedRAMP, SOC2)
• Manage cloud cost accountability (FinOps) and budgeting
• Ensure effective use of Datadog and Tailscale for observability and connectivity
• Represent Cloud Operations in cross-team planning and enforce proper work intake
• Build and maintain a healthy team culture with blameless post-incident reviews
• Report on team health, fleet reliability, and risk to engineering leadership
