Job summary

Our client in Puerto Rico is seeking a Systems/Software Engineer III - Cloud & On-Premise Software Development to join a global enterprise technology company specializing in networking, cloud, and edge-to-cloud solutions.

You'll contribute to backend and cloud applications using Go, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Kubernetes, building enterprise-grade security management platforms for centralized firewall management, policy administration, automation, monitoring, and hybrid cloud security.

Qualifications

• Backend, cloud, and systems software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Own software modules end-to-end, including design, development, testing, and delivery.
• Develop backend services and cloud applications using microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain software using Go, Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Develop APIs and service integrations using REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and OpenAPI.
• Write unit tests, improve automated coverage, and troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams while following development and compliance standards.
