Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Systems/Software Engineer III for a hybrid role in Puerto Rico. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software across platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions while spending about two days per week in an HPE office.

The position requires a bachelor's or master's in CS or related field and typically 4–6 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 4-6 years experience.
• Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Responsabilités

• Designs enhancements and updates for portions of systems software.
• Analyzes design and determines coding and integration activities.
• Writes and executes test plans; debugs and fixes issues.
• Leads a project team to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborates with management and partners on design status and progress.
• Mentors less-experienced staff.
