General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Network Engineer (Cloud) to support an enterprise IT environment at Tysons, VA. The role focuses on scalable networking, security, and cloud connectivity, requiring 10+ years of experience and U.S. citizenship.

You will work on Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies, ensuring robust IP routing, VLAN design, and monitoring. Collaboration with security and cloud teams is essential.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-scale networking environments.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, ASA and Firepower firewalls.
• Demonstrated experience with IP routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLAN design and STP/RSTP/MST, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, IP services (NAT, ACL, QoS), and traffic monitoring.
• Demonstrated experience with SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime, and packet capture tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Demonstrated experience or strong understanding of DHCP, DNS, NTP, IP subnetting, and route summarization.
• Demonstrated experience in IPsec, SSL, DMVPN, site-to-site, and remote access VPN technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with understanding NIST and IC cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Support enterprise-scale networking environments.
• Work with Cisco ISR/ASR routers and Catalyst/Nexus switches.
• Implement and troubleshoot IP routing, VPNs, and security policies.
• Utilize network monitoring and packet analysis tools.
• Apply knowledge of DHCP/DNS/NTP and subnetting.
• Adhere to NIST/IC cybersecurity standards.
• Leverage automation tools like Python or Ansible where applicable.
