Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer (Cloud) to support an enterprise IT environment. The role emphasizes security, reliability, and scalable networking for cloud-enabled services. You will work on enterprise-grade routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall technologies, ensuring compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, a TS/SCI clearance, and reside near Tysons, VA. The position requires US citizenship and offers robust benefits and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
Experience: 10+ years of related networking experience.
Location: Tysons, VA on customer site.
US Citizenship: Required.

Responsibilities

Provide enterprise-scale networking support in a Cloud-oriented environment.
Configure/maintain Cisco ISR/ASR routers and Catalyst/Nexus switches; manage ASA/Firepower firewalls.
Implement and troubleshoot IP routing, VLAN design, STP/RSTP/MST, NAT, ACLs, QoS.
Utilize SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime for monitoring and diagnostics; conduct packet captures.
Support DHCP, DNS, NTP, IP subnetting, route summarization; configure IPsec/SSL VPNs.
Apply NIST and IC cybersecurity policies and best practices.
