Job summary
General Dynamics IT is seeking a Network Engineer (Cloud) to support an enterprise IT environment. You will help ensure secure, scalable network operations from Tysons, VA on customer site, with 40-hour weeks and top-tier cybersecurity standards.
The role requires 10+ years of related experience, a Bachelor's in a technical field, and US citizenship. Experience with cloud networking and SD-WAN is highly desirable. Public trust not required.
Qualifications
- Ten or more years of related networking experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Location: Tysons, VA (On Customer Site).
Responsibilities
- Provide enterprise-scale networking support.
- Implement and manage Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, ASA/Firepower firewalls.
- Configure IP routing, VLAN design, STP/RSTP/MST, NAT, ACL, QoS, and traffic monitoring.
- Utilize SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime, and packet capture tools.
- Support DHCP, DNS, NTP, IP subnetting and routing summarization.
- Implement IPsec/DMVPN/SSL VPN solutions and remote access.
- Align with NIST/IC cybersecurity policies and standards.
