Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Network Cloud Operations Engineer to support AWS network infrastructure across production and non-production environments in New York. You will design and maintain secure cloud-to-on-premises connectivity, configure VPCs, subnets, gateways, VPC peering, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPNs, and work with Cisco routing and switching for hybrid networking.

Qualifications

7–10 years of experience in AWS cloud networking and network operations.
Strong hands-on experience deploying and operating AWS network infrastructure.
Proven experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises network environments.
Strong Cisco networking experience, including routing, switching, WAN, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Transit Gateway, and VPC peering.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and support AWS network infrastructure across production and non-production environments.
Establish and maintain secure connectivity between AWS accounts, VPCs, other clouds, and on-premises data centers.
Configure networking services: VPCs, subnets, route tables, gateways, VPC peering, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, NLB/ALB, Route53, DNS.
Manage security groups, NACLs, VPC endpoints, PrivateLink; support DNS and traffic flows.
Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and application access; participate in incident response and change management.
