Job summary

Request Technology, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to join a prestigious team focused on Cisco networking, Check Point, AWS, and Cisco NG ASA. The role involves supporting a hybrid environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, ensuring secure and scalable network operations in a large-scale enterprise.

You will handle lifecycle management of Cisco platforms (IOS/NX-OS/XR/FTD), firewall deployment, and cloud connectivity across AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
5+ years in IT systems installation, operations and virtualization of servers/clouds.
Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF/ISIS and WAN/LAN/IP/IPAM/DNS concepts.
Experience with Check Point firewalls.
Advanced Cisco lifecycle management (IOS/NX-OS/XR/FTD).
Cloud connectivity experience (AWS, Azure) in hybrid environments.
Scripting with Python, Ansible, or Github for automation.

Responsibilities

Support network infrastructure lifecycle including routing, switching, Cisco FTD firewalls, Cisco ACI, Checkpoint firewall, and cloud-based solutions (AWS).
Assist in implementing network changes to maintain security, performance, and governance with NIST-CSF, COBIT.
Partner with vendors, carriers, and engineering teams to resolve issues and support large-scale projects; maintain documentation and provide on-call support.
