Zusammenfassung

Synechron in New York, NY is seeking a Network Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support a secure, scalable AWS network environment, aligning with enterprise architecture and compliance.

The ideal candidate has extensive AWS networking and Cisco expertise, plus experience with IaC tools and hybrid cloud connectivity, enabling secure, automated network deployments and ongoing optimization.

Qualifikationen

• 7–10 years of overall IT experience.
• Hands-on experience in AWS cloud networking.
• Strong experience with AWS networking services: Cloud WAN, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Network Firewall, Security Groups, Network ACLs, VPC endpoints.
• Strong Cisco network engineering experience.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Ansible).
• Experience building and managing CI/CD or network deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of network security, segmentation, encryption, identity, access control, and compliance.
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Design and maintain AWS network architecture and topology.
• Implement secure connectivity between AWS Cloud WAN and enterprise networks.
• Define and enforce routing, segmentation, security, and network access standards.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and network deployment pipelines.
• Ensure cloud network solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and operations teams.
• Participate in network architecture and design reviews.
• Support capacity planning, performance monitoring, and network optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity, routing, and security issues across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Create technical documentation, network diagrams, operating procedures, and architecture decision records.
• Contribute to network automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
