Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Network Cloud Operations Engineer to design, deploy, and support AWS network infrastructure across production and non-production environments in a fast-paced, 24x7 setting.

You will establish secure connectivity between AWS accounts, VPCs, on-premises data centers, and enterprise applications, while managing Cisco routing/switching and cloud-to-cloud network integration.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in AWS cloud networking and network operations.
• Strong hands-on experience deploying and operating AWS network infrastructure.
• Proven experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises network environments.
• Strong Cisco networking experience, including routing, switching, WAN, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSI, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, NAT, IP addressing.
• BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.
• Experience with AWS connectivity services (Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Transit Gateway, VPC peering).
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, zero-trust networking, or enterprise network security.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and support AWS network infrastructure across production and non-production environments.
• Establish and maintain secure connectivity between AWS accounts, VPCs, other clouds, on-premises data centers, and enterprise applications.
• Configure and manage AWS networking services (VPCs, subnets, route tables, Internet/NAT gateways, VPC peering, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Load Balancers, Route 53, DNS).
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, security, and reliability; respond to incidents and drive root-cause analysis.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network changes per change management processes; prepare rollback plans.
