Job summary
Strategic Solutions of Virginia, LLC (SSVA) is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to deploy, manage, automate, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki networks, Azure cloud, and server infrastructure for SMB clients. You will own Meraki deployments, monitoring, and automation runbooks, and act as a technical escalation point for complex issues with a focus on reliability and efficiency.
The role requires hands-on experience with Meraki, Azure, automation (Python/PowerShell), and strong troubleshooting
Qualifications
- 5+ years in services-based MSB environment
- 5+ years networking including Meraki
- 3+ years supporting Azure environments
- 3+ years automation in Python/PowerShell
- Experience with alert/alarms for Network/Server/Azure
- Capable of deploying Meraki Network end-to-end
- Proficient in OSI model troubleshooting
- Experience coordinating with carriers/suppliers
- Strong packet analysis skills
- Familiar with Meraki Cloud Firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN
Responsibilities
- Drive client success using SSVA process (Front Runner)
- Own deployment and management of standard tools
- Develop and maintain runbooks for automation
- Monitor and escalate tickets to resolve issues
- Troubleshoot network, server, and Azure problems
- Analyze alerts to identify root causes and remediation
- Coordinate with carriers and network suppliers
- Document internal processes and procedures
- Enter work items into ConnectWise Knowledge
- Travel to visit prospects and customers for on-site work
