Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to deploy, manage, and automate critical network, cloud, and server infrastructure for SMB clients in the Charlotte area. You will own Meraki environments end-to-end, automate remediation with Python and PowerShell, and analyze Azure and network alerts to prevent issues.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience working with small and mid-sized businesses in a services-based environment.
5+ years of networking experience, including Meraki support.
3+ years of experience supporting Azure environments.
3+ years’ experience in Automation (Python, PowerShell).
3+ years’ experience understanding alert and alarm handling for Network, Server, and Azure Environments.

Responsibilities

Own deployment and ongoing management of Meraki environments from staging to user acceptance.
Develop and maintain automated runbooks for repeatable remediation using PowerShell and Python.
Monitor Azure, network, and server alerts; troubleshoot latency, connectivity, and performance issues.
Coordinate with network providers and carriers to resolve client-impacting tickets.
Travel to client sites as needed for on-site work and deployments.
