Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to serve as a technical escalation point for network, cloud, and server issues. The role blends hands-on deployment, deep troubleshooting, and automation to improve reliability for small and mid-sized clients.

The position focuses on Meraki environments (firewalls, switches, APs, VPNs, SD-WAN) and Azure monitoring, with a remote-first setup for clients in the US and occasional on-site travel to local sites.

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Azure monitoring and alert systems.
Strong troubleshooting across networks, servers, and cloud services.
Proficiency in automation using PowerShell or Python.
Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-140, CCNA or Meraki Specialist are preferred.

Responsibilities

Own deployment and lifecycle management of Cisco Meraki environments (firewalls, switches, WAPs, VPNs, SD-WAN).
Diagnose latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues using OSI model, Wireshark, and Meraki Dashboard.
Analyze Azure and server alerts; develop automated runbooks and API integrations.
Coordinate ISP/carrier escalations and communicate diagnostics and circuit information.
Create and maintain SOPs for disaster recovery, security, and backups.
Monitor threats and patch/manage configurations with minimal disruption.
