Job summary

VT Group seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer in Chantilly, VA to design, develop, and maintain software applications, modernize legacy systems, and create cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate with customers and teams to ensure software meets operational requirements and performs reliably across platforms.

Required are TS/SCI with Polygraph, a BS degree with 11–15 years of experience, and strong skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, XML, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science degree with 11–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, XML).
• Experience developing, managing, and maintaining web-based software applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and maintain software applications to support project requirements and infrastructure operations.
• Develop cloud-based applications and modernize legacy systems for cloud environments.
• Provide database architecture and design to support performance.
• Develop unit and integration tests and validate functionality.
