Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a Software Developer (Systems Software) in Chantilly, VA to join a high-visibility project as a lead on the team. This role demands an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance and proven leadership in delivering technical solutions on complex web-based applications.

The position emphasizes Java development, cloud technologies, AWS environments, and experience with ServiceNow and accreditation lifecycle, with strong collaboration to meet sponsor goals and program timelines.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
Demonstrated experience as a lead on a team providing technical expertise and communications to the Sponsor.
Demonstrated experience implementing industry best practices and associated technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards and agile methodology.
Demonstrated experience proposing recommendations that provide business value while supporting goals and objectives, with an emphasis on improving UX/UI, reducing O&M, increasing quality and speed of delivery, transforming, and modernizing web-based application, system, and service components.
Demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining, analyzing and documenting web-based application, system, and service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development.
Demonstrated experience in Java development
Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies.
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining AWS environments and service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development
Demonstrated experience working with COTS products including ServiceNow
Demonstrated experience in the full accreditation lifecycle.
Demonstrated experience managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support, using service management systems.
Demonstrated experience developing IT support documents that include SOPs, digital IT workflows, IT knowledge base, pre and post deployment checklists, IT architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining enterprise software, to include license renewals (where applicable), patching, and version update administration.

Responsibilities

Lead a team providing technical expertise and communications to the Sponsor.
Develop and maintain web-based applications, systems, and services for decision-making.
Oversee IT accreditation lifecycle and service management processes.
