Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive cloud-native platform modernization and scalable software delivery.

This role leads architecture, delivery, and on-call support across distributed systems, aiming to improve reliability and velocity. You will build and mentor high-performing teams, set strategic roadmaps, and collaborate with product and security teams to ensure robust, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant technical experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, deployment, and support of cloud-native, scalable software solutions.
• Build, coach, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
• Drive adoption of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Partner with Product, Business, Architecture, Security, and Platform Engineering to define tech roadmaps.
