U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Chief Engineer to lead critical technology initiatives with strong leadership abilities. You will be the primary owner of high-priority projects spanning storage, data protection, and infrastructure, guiding multiple teams and driving modernization efforts.

The role emphasizes senior technical direction, lifecycle management, and collaboration with security, operations, and cloud teams to ensure disaster recovery readiness and business continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, engineering, computer science, mathematics, any science, or equivalent work experience.
• Eight or more years of experience in delivering software-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and strategic direction for Enterprise Storage Architecture, SAN Infrastructure, NAS Platforms, and Data Protection Technologies.
• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, engineering roadmaps, and technology strategies for storage, data protection, and infrastructure resiliency platforms.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale Dell PowerMax, NetApp, and associated enterprise storage environments.
• Provide architectural leadership for Brocade and Cisco SAN Fabric infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, availability, and operational stability.
• Serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex storage, SAN, replication, backup, recovery, and infrastructure issues.
