Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering in enterprise environments.
• 7+ years with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• 5+ years designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• 3+ years with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming tech.
• 3+ years of CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• 3+ years of containerization/orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• 2+ years with public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop high-performance microservices using Java, JEE, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Lead development of event-driven services using Apache Kafka, including streaming patterns and schema evolution.
• Own API strategy for RESTful services with versioning, backward compatibility, and governance.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and reviews.
• Design and implement ETL/data migration pipelines and data quality practices.
• Collaborate with security teams on SecDevOps practices and regulatory safeguards.
